Staying, pausing and feeling the peace and quiet has become difficult in today's hectic society. The race starts in the morning after getting up: commute to work, stand in a traffic jam or squeeze into the crowded subway, arrive at the office, have a quick coffee, meetings, deadlines and customers without time. Ina Echternach invites us to take a break with her series "an invitation to linger". We look through a window into her Polaroid worlds.
an invitation to linger |
"Peace is always beautiful." |
"i wake up there's a voice singing
i wake up to an echoing" |
"i swear to you, there are divine things more beautiful than words can tell." |
“a walk is only a step away from a story, and every path tells.” |
"i lost myself in nature..." |
"The giant trees are bending
Their bare boughs weighed with snow;
The storm is fast descending,
And yet I cannot go." |
"Hidden in the glorious wildness like unmined gold." |
